As a German‑Australian, I have lived in Perth for over 33 years and feel deeply at home in this vibrant, remote metropolis. After completing my Biomedical Engineering degree in Germany, I emigrated to Australia in 1991, where new opportunities quickly unfolded. Scientific expeditions into Australia’s deserts and bushlands led me into tourism and sparked a lasting passion for exploration.

Since then, I have travelled the continent countless times—on both accessible and remote routes—and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism. Australia’s vast landscapes, unique flora and fauna, and hidden gems offer profound encounters with nature that touch the soul.
