From Germany to the Australian Outback
Originally from Germany, I began my professional career in biomedical engineering, developing electromedical devices before emigrating to Australia in 1991.
Scientific expeditions into Australia’s deserts and bushlands soon opened the door to an entirely new direction. Fascinated by the continent’s extraordinary diversity, I developed a passion for exploration that eventually
became my profession.
I went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and have since travelled thousands of kilometres across Australia,
from iconic touring routes to remote tracks and little-known destinations.
Today, Perth is home, and the Australian landscape remains my inspiration.
